BKM Capital Partners is a growing firm and we are looking for hardworking professionals that want to grow with us.  Located in our Newport Beach, California office, the Junior Analyst of Acquisition will play an integral role by supporting the acquisitions team in the analysis of investment opportunities. The Junior Analyst will report to the Director of Acquisitions. 

This role is required to work 100% in-office due to the collaboration nature of our organization.  

The Job Essentials

• Business Plan Creation: Assist in the creation of asset business plans translating the underwriting and investment memos into a concise and descriptive plan to transition the investment from Acquisitions to the Asset and Portfolio Management teams. 
• Market Research: Provide research support utilizing online, internal and external resources. Data aggregation as well as assimilation will be required. Gather market research and stay current on industry trends. Maintain thorough market awareness in targeted markets through direct research and review of third-party research
• Portfolio Investments: Preparing preliminary investment analysis of large portfolio investments, diving deep into asset location, quality, attributes, etc. 
• Liquidity Reporting: Manage BKM’s data base of comparable sales, reporting on the liquidity in the market on a quarterly basis. 
• Perform deep research into buyers and sellers to understand financial metrics. 

The Qualifiers

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics or other business discipline
• 1-3 years in within the commercial real estate field
• Knowledge of industrial market
• Advanced Excel capabilities (building and proofing financial models)
• Argus experience a plus
• A general understanding of commercial real estate terms and investment principles
• Excellent written and oral communication skills  
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
