AP/AR Analyst

Located in our Newport Beach California office, the Analyst, Treasury will have prior experience in a corporate Accounts Payable (“AP”), Accounts Receivable (“AR”), or Treasury role and will be an integral part of maintaining positive relationships with the banks and various teams across BKM. Reporting to the Director, Accounting & Financial Reporting, the Analyst, Treasury, will be responsible for executing various tasks related to AP/AR, liquidity reporting, and other cash management activities.

Job Duties:

Treasury & AP/AR

  • Responsible for daily cash management and related activities
  • Assist with accounts receivable and related systems for BKM
  • Assist with accounts payables and related systems for BKM
  • Lead new bank account setup and structuring
  • Assist with Yardi job maintenance and contract review
  • Create and manage new vendor setup
  • Analyze bank analysis statements and reconcile bank charges
  • Assist with tenant ledger review, maintenance, and reconciliations
  • Lead special and ad hoc projects related to AP and AR
  • Assist with bank account administration (user setup, audits, etc.)

Capital Markets

  • Assist with compliance reporting and loan draws for BKM’s various lenders
  • Review and reconcile loan draws to accounting system facility balances
  • Assist with the due diligence process with potential lenders, acting as a point of contact between lenders and senior team members

Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in finance, accounting, business, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an AP, AR, or treasury role
  • Yardi Voyager and AvidXchange experience a plus
  • Intermediate spreadsheet and database skills
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentially, professionalism, and discretion
